Masc. Isichthys henryi Gill 1863. Type by monotypy. In error as Isistius in Sauvage 1884:207; there is no evidence that this was an emendation, and it should be regarded as an incorrect subsequent spelling of Isichthys. Misspelled Isitchthys by Pellegrin 1921:635 [ref. 30437].
