Biology:

It inhabits deep channels in slow-moving water (Ref. 81635). Electric organ discharge (EOD) lasts 8 ms (Ref. 10460).

Range Description:

A Lower Guinea endemic known from the Ivindo River of Gabon, the Ntem River of Gabon and Southern Cameroon, and in the Woleu River of Gabon. It is absent from the Ogowe River basin and from Congo.
