Translated from Bigorne 1990b:
Teeth are bicuspid. Dorsal begins clearly behind origin of anal (dorsal base 50–60% of anal base). Dorsal rays 22–27 and anal rays 37–43. There are 80 to 88 lateral line scales and 12 around the caudal peduncle. Body depth goes into standarnd length 3.4 – 4.3 times. Caudal peduncle is rather spindly: depth into length 2.9–5.5 times.
