Description: 

Mormyrops anguilloides EOD waveforms. In some specimens of M. anguilloides, the first phase of the EOD is positive (type Pp electrocytes), while more commonly the first phase is negative and the electrocytes are of type Pa. This is the only species known to have individuals in which the EOD waveform can appear as the inverse of the more common waveform.
