Range Description:
Pollimyrus pedunculatus is known from the type locality Boma, Lower Congo River basin and from one locality on the Kouilou-Niari River system in Gabon. Additional specimens from Lower Congo suggest the species is probably widespread in the system.

Pollimyrus pedunculatus is from the type locality Boma, Lower Congo River basin and from one locality on the Kouilou-Niari River system in Gabon. There are clear differences between the specimens from the Kouilolu and those from the Congo. Additional collections and study are needed to make this determination with greater confidence (Stiassny et al., 2007) before an assessment can be made.
